R � <br /> � O� <br /> O , O <br /> �������-, CITYof ORONO <br /> � �- � <br /> : ��-. �, <br /> ��� .:��. <br /> �'�t �G~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY�COUNCiL <br /> �kEsH�4 NO. � � � � <br /> A RESOLUTION GRAlr'TING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL Z01vING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.23, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br /> FILE NO. 03-2872 <br /> WHEREAS,Terry Morse and Christine vlorse,husband and���fe,(hereinafter"the <br /> applicants")are the owners of the property located at 2080 Spates Avenue,within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter "the City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 1,2,3,4,5 and 21, Ora Park on Lake Minnetonka,Hennepin Count�-.�1�iinnesota, <br /> (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance from <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.23, Subdivision 6 (B) to add a second ston-on the most <br /> southwesterly portion of the existing principal structure, 20.6' from the side street lot line where <br /> 50'is required, in the LR-lA zoning district; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on February 19, 2003, at which time all persons desiring to be <br /> heard concerning this application were given t�e opportunity to speak thereon_ <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #03-2872. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA Zoning District,where 2 acres is the minimum <br /> required lot area. The property consists of approximately 1.16 acres. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on February 19, 2003 <br /> and recommended approval by a vote of 6 to 0. <br /> 4.
