For your project,the best information we have is the survey completed in 1996 that shows the wetland <br /> delineation approximately 16 feet from your deck. A copy of this survey is attached. The city recognizes that the <br /> Watershed determined that your project will result in "No Loss"to the wetland last month,which means the project will <br /> not impact their interpretation of wetland boundaries. However,the wetland edge does not appear to have been <br /> delineated, and without a new delineation,the city must use best available information. <br /> Also,while researching the City Street File a Covenant of Dedication for the wetland area was discovered. A copy is <br /> attached. <br /> The city is unable to permit the deck as proposed. You may replace the existing deck, in kind, but any expansion must <br /> meet the a 35' setback from the delineated wetland edge.
