§ 9.10 <br /> � Subd. 3. Exception. Nothing in Subdivision 1 �r 2 of <br /> this Section shall apply: <br /> A. To persons who obtain the appropriate permit as <br /> set f orth in the following paragraphs; or <br /> B. To a peace officer in the discharge of his duty; <br /> or <br /> C. To a person in the lawful defense of his person <br /> or family; or <br /> . D. To a display of fireworks by an organization or <br /> group of organizations authorized in writing by the Chief of <br /> Police, application for permit being made at least fifteen (15) <br /> days prior to the event; or <br /> E. To shoot a bow and arrow in the Physical <br /> Education Program in a school supervised by a member of its <br /> faculty, as community-wide supervised class or event specifically <br /> authorized by the Chief of Police, or a bow and arrow range <br /> authorized by the Council. <br /> Subd. 4. Activities Allowed With Permits. <br /> A. Permits, Occasional Up to 15 Days. Occasional <br /> permits valid for a period of fifteen ( 15 ) ) days or less may be <br /> granted to clubs or persons as follows: <br /> 1. Occasional target shooting or trap and <br /> skeet shooting. - <br /> 2. Field trials, commercial or professional <br /> exhibitions or diplays, or other similar lawful purpose as <br /> determined by the City police. <br /> 3 . For training of dogs for clubs or <br /> individuals, which permit is valid only on land described in the <br /> permit by persons with the consent of the owner or lessee thereof. <br /> B. Permits, Occasional Up to 120 Days. For control <br /> of pests in commercial or agricultural situations, permits may be <br /> granted up to a maximum of 120 days as established by the <br /> Administrator to persons or clubs meeting all the following <br /> criteria: <br /> 1. For control of pests, vermin, rodents, or <br /> other animal nuisances, such as deer hunting by bow and arrow <br /> during appropriate season, or other animals that are a demonstrated <br /> nuisance. <br /> 2.
