This letter is to notify you of zoning code requirements involved in such <br /> a project. First a permit is required for any filling. City staff can issue a permit for up to 100 <br /> cubic yards of fill, anything in excess of that amount requires Council approval. The City of <br /> Orono also prohibits filling with anything but clean fill. Therefore the City must require you <br /> to remove the concrete from the ditch and apply for a grading permit if you wish to proceed <br /> with the project.
