December 11, 2009 <br /> TO: Street File 3585 Sixth Avenue North <br /> FROM: Evelyn Turner <br /> SUBJECT: Barn on Property <br /> MnDOT purchased the front part of this property to construct the CR6/TH12 interchange. On the <br /> front part was the house. It was removed. On the rear part, retained by the property owner, was <br /> the barn. It was not removed, even though it became an accessory structure without a principal <br /> structure. After consultation with the City Attorney it was determined the barn is a non- <br /> conforming structure and is entitled to all the rights of a non-conforming structure. <br />
