MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> FROM: ORONO MANAGEMENT TEAM <br /> SUBJECT: INFORMATION UPDATE <br /> DATE: MAY 17, 2013 <br /> Information Update—05/17/13 <br /> • The Lake Minnetonka Conservation District (LMCD) is has provided its 2012 Annual Report <br /> (attached). Additionally, the Report will be downloaded on the LMCD's website at <br /> www.lmcd.org, under, "Pamphlets and Reports." <br /> • The LMCC is meeting on May 21, 2013 and attached are the cover letter, agenda and April <br /> 2013 meeting minutes. <br /> • Public Works was notified of a water main break on Wednesday in front of a driveway on <br /> Walters Port. The repairs on the break were completed by Wednesday evening. <br /> • Public Works is done flushing all the water hydrants in Orono. <br /> • City Hall summer hours will start Monday, May 20th and continue through August 30th. <br /> Summer hours are Mondays—Thursdays 7:30 am —5:00 pm and Fridays 7:30— 11:30 am. <br /> • Now you can recycle your empty milk cartons,juice boxes, soup, broth, and wine cartons. <br /> Cartons are made mainly from paper, and that paper can be recycled into new products. So <br /> go ahead and put them out for curbside pickup along with your other recyclables. <br /> • 76 total citations were issued in the Police Department for the week of April 28-May 5 and <br /> May 6— May 20. Attached is the weekly summary police report. The first page is a <br /> summary of the citations issued for the week followed by the activity report, which includes <br /> the calls for service that were entered into RMS (Records Management System). <br /> Information that is not public has been redacted. Portions of some addresses have been <br /> redacted because in some instances it's acceptable to show a block range for an incident, <br /> but not the exact address. The activity report does not include all calls our officers were <br /> dispatched to, only the calls for which reports were written. Also not included are parking <br /> tickets, written warnings and assists to other agencies. Arrests will be noted by an asterisk <br /> next to the event. The arrested person's name will be filled in, along with age and city of <br /> residence. <br />
