Dear Mr. and Ms. McKee: <br /> This office represents the City of Orono ("City"). The City has sent this matter to our office <br /> for criminal prosecution of violations of the Orono City Code and Zoning Ordinance. <br /> It has been brought to our attention from Melanie Curtis, Planning and Zoning Coordinator, <br /> that you have failed to maintain the property in compliance with the Orono City Codes and <br /> Zoning Ordinances. <br /> You have until December 30, 2011 to correct the violations on the above-referenced <br /> property. Your failure to comply by December 30, 2011 will result in criminal <br /> prosecution. Each violation is punishable by 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine for each <br /> day the violation continues to exist. <br /> If you choose to avoid prosecution by correcting the violations, you must first correct the <br /> violations and only then contact Melanie Curtis, Planning and Zoning Coordinator, at <br /> (952) 249-4600 to inspect the subject property.
