(last pumpout date 9/3/91) <br /> The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance beri��een the bottom <br /> of the drainfield to the seasonally high��atertable. The three foot requiremznt is a State Code, not a City <br /> Code. A soil boring �vas condlicted to determine the depth of the seasor_ally watertable. The septic <br /> system must be replaced by� December 31, 2010. <br /> Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors who �vork in Orono on a regular basis. Also <br /> enclosed is a fact sheet etplainin�how a septic system functions properl��.
