MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO TRUTH-IN-TAXATION/CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> Monday,December 10,2018 <br /> 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br /> Rief reported he met last week with some of the lake area managers related to utilities in the southern area <br /> to start the discussion about whether there would be some opportunities for savings. <br /> Rief stated he also met with lake area managers today to discuss some LMCD issues and the various city <br /> budgets. Rief thanked Finance Director Ron Olson for his six months of dedication to the budget. <br /> Rief thanked Community Development Director Jeremy Barnhart for all of his work on the 2040 <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Rief noted City Hall will be closed on Monday,December 17,to the public so Staff can perform an <br /> internal cleaning of the facility. <br /> Rief stated he would also like to say thank you to Council Member Dankey for her service on the City <br /> Council. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> Dankey moved,Crosby seconded,to enter into closed session as permitted by the attorney-client <br /> privilege to discuss the following three lawsuits: Peter Lampher and Penny Rogers vs the City of <br /> Orono and Jay Nygard,et al; Fred Johnson vs the City of Orono; and Matthew and Susanne <br /> Johnson vs Archelle Georgiou Feldson,et al.
