The Gulbrandsons are ok signing it, but Wells Fargo just doesn't know what to do with it. If
we get their signature can we move forward?
Make it a great day!
John Quinlivan
Principal
 ordor
ames
,.,,
5159 Main Street Suite 200
PO BOX 306
Maple Plain, MN 55359
(M) 63•479•3117
F) 763•479.3128
C 612.418.1002
The information contained in this electronic mail message is confidential information intended only for the use of the
individual or entity named above, and may be privileged. If the reader of this message is not the intended recipient or the
employee or agent responsible to deliver it to the intended recipient, you are hereby notified that any dissemination,
distribution or copying of this communication is strictly prohibited.
From: Melanie Curtis [mailto:MCurtis@ci.orono.mn.us]
Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2014 9:00 AM
To: 'John Quinlivan'
Subject: RE: 1480 6th Ave/ #2014-00627
Yes. Our code requires a covenant for plumbing in an accessory structure. If a shower or bathtub is installed a CUP is
needed (which also includes a covenant). Previously our code required ALL plumbing in accessory structures to have a
CUP. This is restrictive but less so than the previous version of the code.
I think if we don't/can't get the mortgage consent we go ahead from there. The important thing is to get property
owners to sign so we can record the covenant. The risk to the City in forgoing the mortgage consent is that if the current
property owners default the covenant becomes more difficult to enforce.
i
