The permit must be picked up in. <br /> person at the Ciry Offices and work must not be�in unless the permit card is on the job <br /> site. <br /> 2. Permits will be issued only to contractors holdin� a City of Orono Septic System <br /> Installers License. <br /> 3. AIl work must be done in accordance �vith the approved septic system desi�n. Design <br /> reports are not considered approved unless accompanied by the "City of Orono Septic <br /> System Approval" cover sheet si�ned by the Ciry Inspector. <br /> 4, The follow•in� inspections will be required for all septic systems: <br /> A. Pre-ins�allation site inspection to include inspector, installer, and general contractor. <br /> B. Tank installation prior to coverin�. <br /> C. Drainfield trench installation prior to coverin�. For mounds, inspection is required <br /> after rouQh-up buc prior to sand placemenc (sand will be jar tested for silt content), <br /> and a�ain durin� pressure distribution pipin; installation in the rock bed. <br /> D. Fi.nal inspection to verify proper final cover depths and to verify that all pump station <br /> (where required) components are functional and comply with codes. <br /> 5, Individual holdin�MPCA Installer Certifica[e shall be present durin� inspections: A 2`�- <br /> hour notice is required for all inspections. <br />
