Edwards, P.E. Agenda Section: Staff Report <br />Dir, Public Works/City Engineer <br />1. Purpose. The purpose of this item is for commission review and endorsement for the Parks Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP) for 2018. <br />2. Summary. The CIP is a planning level document that lays out future capital expenditures. The plan <br />is revised annually and submitted for approval to the City Council, The 2018 draft is attached. There <br />were two major changes to the CUP this year: the Golf course CIP was merged into the Park CTP and all <br />equipment regardless of funding source was merged into the Equipment CIP <br />3. Items added to the Parks CIP. (Exhibit A). <br />a. Navarre Playground Basket Ball Court Surfacing <br />b. Crystal Bay Basket Ball Court Surfacing <br />c. Hackberry Park Basket Ball Court Surfacing <br />d. GC Clubhouse Foundation Restoration <br />e. GC Cart parking <br />f. GC Fairway Drainage <br />g. GC Fest Tent Area <br />h. GC Fire Pit <br />4. Park Related Items added to the Equipment CIP. (Exhibit B) <br />a. Mower for Big Island <br />b. Boat for Big Island <br />5. Funding. All item on the CIP are subject to funding availability and approval by the City Council. <br />Items on the Park CIP are funded through a combination of the Park Fund and Equipment Outlay Fund. <br />COMMISION ACTION REQUESTED <br />The Park Commission should review and provide any comments for the CIP <br />Exhibits <br />A.
