Agenda Section: Staff Report <br />Dir, Public Works/City Engineer <br />1. Purpose. The purpose of this item is for Commission review and endorsement for the Golf Course <br />Plan. <br />2. Summary. Since taking over oversight of the Golf Course the Park Commission has been interested <br />in developing a plan of capital improvements at the Golf Course for both golf related and other <br />recreational opportunities. In particular the Commission expressed an interest in opportunities to increase <br />revenues such as gathering areas and an outdoor deck as well as non -golf activities such as sledding, <br />tubing and a trail system. In June the council authorized development of a plan for the golf course. <br />Bolton and Menk, Inc completed the plan in September and the plan was presented to the Commission at <br />the October Park Commission Work Session. <br />3. Golf Course Plan Outline. Based on feedback from commission members, I placed the projects by <br />priority in the following table.
