`VAvAR-e >l ao 5-7A"o-K) t rv; <br />AC -Qu tSmrop j <br />CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 4393 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />ACQUISITION OF THE PROPERTY AT 3790 SHORELINE DRIVE <br />TO BE FUNDED PARTIALLY FROM THE GENERAL FUND <br />AND PARTIALLY FROM THE PARK FUND <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the purchase of the property at 3790 <br />Shoreline Drive for the purpose of providing parkland for the neighborhood; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to provide a public vehicular access through a portion of this <br />property to County Road 15, it may be preferable for the southern portion of the property to be <br />developed for residential use; and <br />WHEREAS, because there is a possibility that the southern portion of the property <br />may be used for a non -park use, the funding for the property is being provided partially from the <br />,jeneral Fund and partially from the Park Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby authorize the property at 3790 Shoreline Drive to be purchased using $80,000 of General <br />Fund reserves and $80,000 of Park Fund reserves to preserve the flexibility to use a portion of the <br />property fora non -park use. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 22nd day; of November, 1999. <br />ATTEST; <br />Linda S.
