Presented herein are diSCUSS"ens <br />proposed acquisition: <br />Description <br />Financial Consideration <br />- Potential Uses <br />- Park Planning Status <br />p�es c;r ip tion <br />for your consideration the proposal <br />parcel of land for use as a village <br />of the following aspects of the <br />The proposed park is a 8.72 acre undeveloped area located on Stubb's Bay <br />Road in the northwest corner of its intersection with the Luce Line Trail <br />system. A plot map of the property is enclosed with this proposal. <br />The park is mostly open field sloping to the northwest with a wooded area <br />and ravine in the northwest corner. An undeveloped fresh water spring is <br />located in the southeast corner. Adjoining the southeast corner of the park <br />is a wedge of land on which an old dairy building stood. The "dairy" property <br />is tax delinquent and stands to be acquired by Hennepin County eventually. <br />We plan to coordinate the use of the wedge of land as a rest park for Luce v <br />Line users. <br />Adjoining the park to the west is a heavily wooded undeveloped area which <br />we intend to investigate in the future as additional park area. <br />The park is currently owned and controlled jointly by several members of <br />the Larson family. <br />Financial Consideration <br />We have reached an agreement with the <br />the price and method of payment which <br />readily handle the acquisition in the <br />recreation budget. <br />present owners of the property on both <br />we believe to be equitable.
