You should De advfsed that the City <br /> ��nnimg and Bui2cling Codes have no regulations that would prevent a <br /> s�x.ucture froaa befng improved so that it would meet the Building Code <br /> Standaxds if it encroached a right-�f-way. The structure per our <br /> standardr would be classified as a non-conforming structure and if <br /> such structure was to be improved, would require the filing of a land <br /> use application but tAere is no directive in our Codes (Suilding & <br /> Zoni�g) that wouic� probibit the improvement of such structures because <br /> they encroach a right-of-way. <br /> Yoe�r letter will be placed in the files of each of thf subject <br /> proper�iea and if an indfvidual property owner seeka a building permit <br /> ta irnprove one of these non-conforming structures based on the City <br /> Zoning Code, the o�rner would have to file a land um� application. <br /> • p�xt af that Ia�d use appYication would be referral to the Aennepin <br /> C�unty Department of Transportatfon for their comments regarding the <br /> imgrovemgnt of said structure.
