'
I ADVANCE SUR VEYING & ENGINEERING CO.
5300 Highway 101 South, Minnetonka, MN 55345 Phone 474 7964
'
' June 8, 1991
, Attn: Mr. Steve Martin
Steve Martin Homes
3485 County Road No. 34
' Mound, MN 55364
Phone: 339 2991
' Dear Steve:
' At your request we have conducted a preliminary investigation of
soil conditions on your site at the locations you specified.
' Your site is located on Shoreline Drive in Navarre, Minnesota,
where you propose to build a new home. The site is described as:
the South 233 feet of the West 150 feet of that part of
, Government Lot 8 lying East of Streater's Spring Park Addition.
The investigation consisted of exploratory soil borings to aid in
' identifying soil and water conditions. We have indicated the
approximate location of the borings on an attached site plan
sketch. Elevations shown are approximate and are based on The
' North American Datum. The benchmark for these elevations is the -
spike in lath in 8 inch pine tree as shown = 935.00.
' Borings were taken with a truck mounted CME 45 drill rig using
solid stem continuous-flight augers. Soils encountered in the
' borings were visually and manually examined in the field by the
crew chief. The soils are classified on the basis of texture and
plasticity in accordance with ASTM D2487 "Unified Soil
' Classification System". A chart explaining the Unified Soil
Classification System is attached.
'
'
1
\
