DEC-24-2001 10�54 MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED 6124710682 P.02/62 <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: December 24, 2001 <br /> T0: Paul Wienberger, City of Oronv; Ed Held <br /> FROM: Michael Wyatt, District Technician <br /> RE: Permits for 3890 Shoreline Drive, Orono <br /> This memo is to inform th� Ciry of Orono and the p�operty owner at <br /> 3890 Shoreline Drive in Orono that from the current proposal the <br /> project proposed at this locatian does not appear to require pe�mits <br /> from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. Due to the size of the <br /> project, it does not appear that the shed construction will involve the <br /> significant amaunt of excavation (5000 ft.2 or 50 ft.3) required for our <br /> Rule 8: Erosion Control permit. In addition� MCWD has verified that <br /> the proposed construction area is outside of the wetland boundary, <br /> thereby not requiring the permit for MCWD Rule D: Wetland <br /> Protection. MCWD does, however, request that the necessary <br /> erosion control measures be in plac� during construction to stabilize <br /> areas of loose soil around the wetland in order ta prevent any <br /> degradation of the basin. <br /> MCWD also requests copies of the proposed construction plans from <br /> the city and the homeowner and any changes to these plans should <br /> be submltted to MCWO for review and consideration for potential <br /> permits. <br /> TI"1T/N 1"1 1'9�'Y <br />
