, �1 �53ZZ5 <br /> �-0�0 � <br /> C ITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF T'HE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � <br /> 6484 <br /> � `� <br /> `� G N O. <br /> j�kESH��� <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> APPROVING <br /> A SITE PLAN, AND A HARDCOVER VARIANCE, <br /> AND A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br /> A BUILDING ADDITION <br /> PURSUANT TO ORONO ZONING CODE CHAPTER 78, DIVISION 4, <br /> AND SECTIONS 78-348 8� 78-1700 <br /> FILE NO. 15-3704 <br /> WHEREAS, Oretel Architects, Ltd., (hereinafter the "Applicant") has <br /> made an application on behalf of Hennepin County, the owner (hereinafter the <br /> "Owner") of property located at 3880 Shoreline Drive within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as Exhibit A (hereinafter "the Property"); <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and <br /> existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to State Statutes 412 et. seq. and 462 et. seq., the <br /> City Council of the City of Orono has adopted zoning regulation for the protection of the <br /> public health, safety and general welfare; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Property contains existing public senrice structures and is <br /> located in the LR-1 C one family lakeshore residential district. Public service structures <br /> are an allowed use within the LR-1 C district by conditional use permit; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Owner has operated the maintenance facility on the <br /> Property since 1962; and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 12, 2014, the Applicant made an application <br /> requesting a conditional use permit and commercial site plan approval to permit the <br /> construction of a 3,224 square foot addition to the existing maintenance building <br /> structure pursuant to Municipal Zoning Code Sections 78-142 and 78-348(7); and <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
