Sohns • <br /> 3770 Shoreline Drive <br /> Orono, Minnesota 55392 <br /> Re: Zoning Violations <br /> Dear Mr. Sohns: <br /> The City has received complaints regarding operations at 3770 Shoreline Dr. An inspection revealed <br /> the following zoning code violations: <br /> 1) Storage of unlicensed inoperable vehicles - violation of Orono Municipal Code <br /> Section 9.50. <br /> 2) Exterior storage of building materials,fuel oil tanks, scrap piles, asphalt,boats,bntsh <br /> and other junk and debris -violation of Orono Municipal Code Section 9.55, Subd. <br /> 1. <br /> 3) Filling without a grading permit approval from the City - violation of Orono <br /> Municipal Code Section 10.03, Subd. 19. <br /> 4) Filling within 26' of a wetland-violation of Orono Municipal Code Section 10.55, <br /> Subd. 8. <br /> The City has notified you in the past of these ongoing violations and realizes the clean up could take <br /> a fair amount of time. However,the City expects progress to be made before March 18, 1996 and <br /> the entire property cleaned up and fill removed from the 26' setback azea before June 1, 1996. The <br /> City will not hesitate in issuing citations and taking whatever legal actions are necessary to eliminate <br /> these violations.
