Responses listed below correspond to the 6 items in <br /> the letter dated January 22, 2016 and enclosed are two copies of the revised ptans. <br /> 1. See attached revised Code Summary sheet G0.0 and revised Site plan sheet A1.1 for <br /> additional egress plan <br /> 2. We will reverse the swings of Doors 112 and 113 to not impact required exiting width. See <br /> attached revised floor plan sheet A2.0 <br /> 3. The existing East exterior wall construction is 12" CMU with interior 2xwood furring <br /> (fiberglass batt insulated) and one layer of S/8"gypsum board. Per UL Design No U901 this <br /> wall fire resistance rating is between 2 and 4 hours depending on existing loose masonry fill. <br /> Per Table 602 of the IBC,this wall is required to carry a minimum rating of 1 hour. <br /> Per Table 705.8 of the IBC, unprotected openings between 3 and 5 feet from a property line <br /> must consist of no more than 15%of the exterior wall area. The area of openings within the <br /> East exterior wall (66 SF) account for 5%o of the exterior wall area (1260 SF). <br /> 4. Will Comply. Subcontractors are currently being selected.
