This code allows businesses to utilize temporary signs for up to 40 days per <br /> calendar year. Display of temporary signage requires a Temporary Sign permit issued by the City of <br /> Orono. A maximum of four (4), 10-day temporary sign permits may be granted per business per <br /> calendar year. <br /> This letter will serve as your notice that a Temporary Sign Permit is required for the signs <br /> (banners) displayed at the above address. Because these signs (banners) were displayed without <br /> the proper permits, an after-the-fact fee will apply. You must complete the enclosed Temporary <br /> Sign Permit application and submit an after-the-fact (double) fee of $70 by noon on Friday, <br /> May 13, 2011 or remove the signs upon receipt of this letter.
