<br />I ;. DEMOLITION
<br />A. Verify with owner extent of existing demolition including removal of door
<br />finishes to install new the and hardwood floors in areas indicated on plan
<br />and removal cf acoustical the ceiling.
<br />ii Where removal of walls, etc., occurs, adjoining surfaces shall be patched
<br />and prepared for new finish application.
<br />if WAI LS:
<br />2.1. Install new walls as shown on the plans and described below:
<br />A. New exterior walls of toilet roams are to be 10" concrete block to match
<br />existing. Refer to structural engineering specification for design of new
<br />exterior walls. Interior face of concrete block walls is have 2s metal firring
<br />channels with 2" rigid insulation and 5/8" type X gypsum board, taped,
<br />sanded and painted or to receive finish as specified.
<br />B. New walls are to be constructed of 3 5/8 steel studs at 16 o.c. (or gauge and
<br />size as recommended by manufacturer for wall height) with 5/8" type X
<br />gypsum board each side. Walls are to be taped, sanded and painted or
<br />receive finish as specified. Insulate interior walls surrounding toilet rooms
<br />full thickness with acoustic glass fiber batt insulation.
<br />III DOORS AND WINDOWS
<br />3.1. New doors are to be 1 3/4" thick, flush panel, solid core, plain sliced, oak veneer.
<br />3.2. Door frames are to be hollow metal with welded corners.
<br />3.3. FINISH HARDWARE
<br />A, interior door locks are to be lever handle D Series by Schlage or equal.
<br />Finish is to be selected by owner. Ins4all kick plates on restroom doors.

<br />A. Install porcelain tile in area surrounding bar and on floors of toilet rooms.
