The car dealers <br /> would prefer that languag not be contained in the legislation. <br /> McMillan asked whether this inance amendment will provide the C' flexibility in dealing with <br /> hardcover. <br /> Curtis indicated it would give the Cit e�bility and that it wo d allow someone to improve their <br /> property if it results in less hardcover an is a reasonable ap oach to the situation. <br /> Bremer asked whether Staff will still be com able wi this ordinance a year or two from now. <br /> Curtis indicated they will be. BARRY TANNER,3435 SHORELINE DRIVE—APPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> DECISION <br /> Curtis stated Navarre Lanes opened for business in the multi-tenant building at 3423 Shoreline Drive in <br /> December of 2010. Winter weather conditions and frost have not allowed for construction of a new <br /> monument sign. In order to draw customers to the newly opened bowling alley, Mr.Tanner placed <br /> temporary signage on the property. Per City Code, four 10-day pemuts are allowed for temporary <br /> signage per calendar year. These permits may be lumped together into one 40-day time period. Mr. <br /> Tanner applied for and received temporary sign permits for the dates December 3`�through December <br /> 31 S`.
