The digital sign is fine,as long as overall size
is the same or smaller, which it appears to be. Please confirm.
Below is a copy of my last email to Jesse at Choice Electric. We are still waiting for a dimmer proposal from him to
review.
Christine Mattson
Planning Assistant
City of Orono
2750 Kelley Parkway Orono I MN 55356(physical addressJ
PO Box 66 Crystal Bay f MN I 55323-0066(mailing address)
S 952.249.4620 8 952.249.4616
cmattson@ci.orono.mn.us i www.ci.orono.mn.us
Office Hours: Monday- Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
From:Christine Mattson
Sent:Thursday, March 24,2016 8:15 AM
To: 'jthompson@choiceelec.com'<jthompson@choiceelec.com>
Cc:Jeremy Barnhart<jbarnhart@ci.orono.mn.us>
Subject: RE: Holiday Station Stores
lesse,
Your dimmer proposal sounds like a great solution. The City does not have a NIT level standard. Citv Ordinance 78-831
requires lighting to be reduced to avoid glare on public roads. In our experience,a reduction of by a third has worked,
but we are open to alternate suggestions.
Christine Mattson
Planning Assistant
City of Orono
2750 Kelley Parkway Orono MN 55356(physical addressJ
