RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �`9kES�I�4�' NO. � 3 � � � � <br /> A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE EXTENSION <br /> OF MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SERVICE <br /> TO THE HEAD PROPERTY <br /> AT 2090 SHORELINE DRIVE V <br /> WHEREAS, the property at 2090 Shoreline Drive legally described on Exhibit A <br /> attached to this resolution, is owned by Douglas M. Head and Sally Bosanko (the Heads); and <br /> � WHEREAS, the property is approximately 3.91 acres in area, with approximately <br /> 3/4 acre being dry-buildable; and , <br /> WHEREAS,the property is zoned LR lA,which requires a minimum lot size of two <br /> � acres; and <br /> • WHEREAS, there are two currently-used houses existing on the property, <br /> constructed prior to the adoption of the Zoning Code; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Heads have requested the City approve the provision of municipal <br /> sanitary sewer service to the property; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Heads have requested the sewer serve both houses, and that the City <br /> Council confirm that the property will continue to be able to have two dwelling units; and <br /> WHEREAS,it is important to ensure that the extension of sewer to the property will <br /> not result in an increase in density beyond the cunent two dwelling units on the property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does <br /> hereby approve the e�ension of municipal sanitary sewer to the property at 2090 Shoreline Drive <br /> and confirm the property will continue to be able to have two dwelling units, with the following <br /> conditions: � <br /> 1. . The Heads place deed covenants on the property, in a form acceptable to the City <br /> Attorney, providing that there will be no more than two dwelling units on the <br /> property and no more than two buildable lots on the property. <br /> • .
