A summary of the inspection <br /> is belo�v. <br /> Septic Tank Condition <br /> 1. Pumpout needed within one year. (last pumpout date 8/25/94). <br /> The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot sepazation distance beriveen the bottom <br /> of the drainfield to the seasonally high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code,not a City <br /> Code. A soil boring was conducted to deternune the depth of the seasonally �vatertable. The sepric <br /> system must be replaced by December 31,2007. <br /> Enclosed is a list of state licensed sepric contractors who work in Orono on a regulaz basis. Also <br /> enclosed is a fact sheet eYplaining how a septic system functions properly.
