CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO.)I ILA 6 9 1 5 <br /> `�'cEs H ov <br /> RESOLUTION TO CERTIFY RESULTS OF THE <br /> TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6,2018 <br /> GENERAL ELECTION <br /> FOR CITY OF ORONO OFFICES <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Orono held an election for the office of Mayor and two Council <br /> Members on Tuesday,November 6, 2018, during the General Election with 4,706 persons <br /> voting, which includes 1,689 accepted absentee votes. <br /> WHEREAS, on this 13th day of November, 2018 the Orono City Council Canvassing <br /> Board has met to canvass said election results; and <br /> WHEREAS,the votes tabulated at said election were: <br /> Mayor Votes Council Member Votes <br /> Dennis Walsh 3482 Aaron Printup 2670 <br /> Write-ins 246 Matthew Johnson 2718 <br /> Write-ins 125 <br /> THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board <br /> declares Dennis Walsh as Mayor for a 2-year term beginning on January 14, 2019; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Orono City Council Canvassing Board declares <br /> Aaron Printup and Matthew Johnson as Council Members for 4-year terms beginning on January <br /> 14, 2019. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
