"CONFORMING SYSTE "-A system Which does not meet all t location, design, and construction standards of the current City C es, but was installed according to th code in effect at the time of installation, and which is operating s tisfactorily by treating and disposing of the entire current sewage input without discharging any pollutants into ground or surface waters. 3 "NON-CONFORMING S STEM"-A prohibited syst�n; a system ocated within a designated 700-year floodptain; any system which y or may not meet all the location, esign, and construction standards of the current City Codes and whic is failing for any reason; and any s tem with less than 3 feet of unsaturated soil or sand between the di tribution device and the limiting soil haracteristics. Ins ction risers (4" dia. pipe) must be instatted in each tank at next ut. If tanks have not been punped ut uithin the last three years, they should be punped out now. 10 Inspection pipe is ldcated directly over tank baffle (does ot give accurate measurement of solids accunulation>. If tanks have nbt been punped out within the last thre years, they should be punped out now. DRAINFIELD CONOITION 71-14 : Dr field inspection indicptes: Drainfield is dry, no surfacing evident. 2 Some evidence of surf8cing, not critical yet. 13 Drainfield is saturated and visibly discharging untreated ffluent to the surface. Contact the City Inspector immediately. Rgpairs must be completed within 90 days. 14 Drainfield extent and condition unknown.
