This letter is to notify you that Orono City code prohibits fences <br /> or any structures within 75' of the lake and channels. <br /> Therefore the City must require you to remove the fence or if you feel you have a hardship you <br /> may ask the City Council to grant you a variance. The fence must be removed or a variance <br /> application must be submitted before November 7, 1994. If this deadline is not met, the City <br /> may initiate legal action.
