In that sketch it appeared to Staff <br /> that you were proposing to construct a new retaining wall approximately 5 feet from the <br /> side lot line. However, in reviewing the new information it appears that you are proposing <br /> to remove portions of an existing retaining wall and construct a new wall parallel to the <br /> side lot line. Further, according to the 7/30/09 survey submitted, the�proposed wall is to <br /> be constructed less than 5 feet from the side lot line. The City Code requires a 5 foot <br /> setback from property lines when grading is proposed. <br /> Based on this information we are unable to issue the permit at this time. Please revise the <br /> plans to reflect at least a 5 foot setback from the wall to the adjacent side lot line in order <br /> to comply with City Code. <br /> The above information is required in order for the plan review to continue.
