This code allows businesses to utilize temporary signs for up to 40 days <br /> per calendar year. Display of temporary signage requires a Temporary Sign permit issued by the City <br /> of Orono. A maximum of four (4), 10-day temporary sign permits may be granted per business per <br /> calendar year. <br /> An after-the-fact Temporary Sign Permit will allow you to display the sign (banner) until Monday, <br /> April 25, 2011. This letter will serve as your notice that a Temporary Sign Permit is required for <br /> the signage displayed at the above address. You must complete the enclosed Temporary Sign <br /> Permit application and submit an after-the-fact (double) fee of $70 by noon on Monday, <br /> March 21, 2011. <br /> Additionally, we observed a new sign face on the existing monument sign. Re-facing of a sign requires <br /> a permanent sign permit. This letter will also serve as your notice that a Permanent Sign Permit <br /> is required for the re-facing of the monument sign displayed at the above address. A completed <br /> Permanent Sign Permit Application must be received by noon on Monday, March 21, 2011. <br /> Please note, you will be charged an after-the-fact double fee for this permit. <br /> Please be advised, if you fail to comply with this notice, this matter will be sent to the City Attorney for <br /> review and may result in criminal prosecution.
