While he was in our office discussing the project, he noted a portion of the <br /> retaining wall on the southwest corner of the property has been removed. <br /> This same day the property was inspected and landscape plastic was found under the mulch/wood chips and gravel <br /> patio area. Plastic underlayment is considered hardcover and will must be removed from the mulched area or included <br /> in the hardcover calculations. The gravel/paver patio will be considered hardcover. <br /> On May 15, 2014 we received an as-built survey dated 5/12/14. Additional information will be required before we can <br /> proceed with our as-built review. The survey and hardcover calculations must be updated to reflect: <br /> • All improvements <br /> • The portion of the retaining wall that has been removed <br /> • The edging/coping around the pool as hardcover <br /> • The fire pit as hardcover <br /> • Unless the plastic is removed, the areas where there is plastic under mulch/wood chips will be considered <br /> hardcover <br /> • The 'gravel' patio area as hardcover <br /> To assure the hardcover calculations are done to the City's requirements, please review the attached Hardcover <br /> Information Packet and use the City's Hardcover Calculation Form.
