Access to data by individual. Upon his further requesc, aa individual who is[he subject <br /> of stored pcivate or public dara on individuals shall be shown ehe da[a wiehout any charge to him and, if he dtsires, shall be informed of che concent <br /> and meaning of�hat dan. After an individual h�s been shown[he private data and informed of ics meaning.[he dara need not be disclosed to him for <br /> six mon�hs[hereafrer uriless a dispute or acdon pursuanc co this secdon is pending or addiaoaal data on the individual has been collected or creared. <br /> The resFonsible authoriry shali providz copies of[he private or pubiic data upon request by che individual subject of�he dara. The responsible authoriry <br /> may require the requesting person to pay the actual cosu of making, cerafying, and compiling the copies. <br /> The responsible au[horiry shall comply immediately, if possible, wich any requesc made pursuant to this subdivision,or wi�hin five days of <br /> tht dace of che requesc,excluding Saturdays,Sundays and legal holidays,if immediace compliance is not possibte. Procedure when data is not accurate or complete. An individual may contest tha accuracy or completeness of public or private <br /> data conceming himse(f. To exercise this right,an individual shall noafy in wriring�he responsibie authoriry describing[he nature of the disagreement. <br /> The responsible authoriry shall within 30 days eicher: (a)correct tha data found to be inaccurate or incomplete and aaemp�co noafy past recipiencs of <br /> inaccurate or incomplece data, including recipien�s named by the individual;or(b)notify the individual thac he betieves rhe data to be correct.
