The wetland area is separate from,
and has no direct connection to, the lake and so is not subject to the LMCD regulations.
On behalf of the LMCD, thank you for your proactive efforts in researching all regulatory authority in this matter. It
is my understanding you have already spoken with the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and the City of Orono.
Please allow me to offer one more contact for reference; MN DNR Hydrologist Kate Drewry. Ms. Drewry can be
reached via email or by telephone: kate.drewry@state.mn.us or(651) 259-5753.
If the LMCD can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to call.
Emily Herman
Administrative Technician Lake Minnetonka Conservation District
5341 Maywood Road, Suite 200 Mound, MN 55364
Ph 952-745-0789 Fx 952-745-9085 eherman@Imcd.org
Visit www.lmcd.org
,.,,.
,
• Toreserve ond ehonce the lake Mrnnetonka experrence
