� Sec.13.04 RIGHTS OF S[JBJECTS OF DATA Subd. 1. Type of data. The righrs of individual on whom[he dara is sw:�or[o be stored shall be as set forth in this secaoa Subd.2. Access to data by indi�idual. Upon requesc to a resroasibie anthoriry,an individual shall be informed whe[her he u the subject of scored data on individuals,and whe[her it is classified as public,privat�or confidecrial. Upon his further reques�aa individual who is the subject of scored private or public data on individuals shall be shown the data wi�out any c'narge to him and;if he desires,shall be informed of the contenc and meaning of[hac data. After an individual has been shown the privau�an and in:ormed of ics meaaing,che daca need not be d'uclosed to him for six mon[lu chereafcer unless a dispute or acaon pursuanc to this secdon is p:nding or addidonal data on the individual has been collected or created. 'It►e responsible auehoriry shall provide copies of the private or public data cron reques:by the individual subject of[he dara. The responsible authoriry may rcquire[he requesting person to pay the actua!coscs of making,cerjring,and compiling the copies. 'Ihe responsible auchoriry shall comply immediatety,if possible,wieh aay r_quest made punuant to this subdivision,or wichin five days of the date of the requesc,ezcluding Saturdays,Sundays and legal holidays,if uamediat-compliance is not possible. If he cannot comply with the requesc within chat time,he shall so inform ehe individual,and may have an addicoaal five days wiehin which to comply wich the request,ezeiuding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or complete. An individual may contest the accuracy or completeness of public or pri�•ate da[a concerning tiunself. To exercise[his right,an individual shall nodfy ia wriang�:e responsible suthoriry dascribiug che namre of the disagreement. The responsible au�horiry shall wichin 30 days either: (a)correct the dan fcund to be inaccurate or incomplete and aaempt to nodfy past recipienct of inaccurate or incomplete dara,inctuding recipients named by[he individLl;or(b)�odfy the individual thac he believes rhe dara to be carrect. Dara in dispuce shail be disclosed only if che individual's sta[emenc of disagree�ent is i^.c:�ded with the disclosed data. The de�erminarion of the rosponsible au[horiry may be appea::d punuac�to the provisions of che adminis�adve procedure act relating co contested cases. .
