Box 86 <br /> Crystal Bay, MN 55356 <br /> Dear Mayor White: <br /> I wish to thank your city officials who have directed the builder of the new <br /> home Mr. Stephen longman is buiiding at 2118 Shadywood Road to have, in <br /> Mr. Longman's estimation, "an excess of 23 truckloads of dirt fiil" dumped by <br /> mistake on the property, be removed. <br /> Mr. Lyle Ohman, Orono Building Official, has informed me that the culvert will <br /> be eliminated and the water drainage will be returned to a natural surface <br /> runoff as it has been since 1910 some 98 years ago when the original home at <br /> 2118 Shadywood Rd. was built, and some 53 years ago when my home at 2106 <br /> Shadywood Rd. was built in 1955. This wiil eliminate the need for a cuivert <br /> which if blocked could have caused flooding of my property. <br /> Mr. Tom Keliogg, Orono city engineer has worked in conjunction with Mr. <br /> Ohman to develop the current grading plan for the lot at 2118 Shadywood <br /> Road. Thanks to their efforts, l have been protected from a potentially <br /> disasterous situation.
