Evidence of <br /> a rat infestation was observed by the presence of numerous rat <br /> burrows located at the fenceline adjacent to the property and along <br /> the bank of the lake; gnawings on the fence behind the garage area <br /> of 1972 Shadywood Road and three dead Norway rats found on property <br /> immediately adjacent to 1972 Shadywood Road. Piles of rotting <br /> garbage (food) and various types of bird feed were located in the <br /> driveway of 1972 Shadywood Road. Junk, old cars, and other <br /> miscellaneous debris was observed throughout the property. A large <br /> number of flies were observed and a strong odor of rotting garbage <br /> was noted in the driveway area. <br /> Mr. Lloyd Nehring IS HEREBY ORDERED TO ABATE THE NUISANCE AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Remove all attractants and harborage areas for rodents <br /> (bird feed, raw garbage, piles of junk, cardboard, wood, <br /> metal, etc. ) from the premises. <br /> 2 . Hire a licensed pest control operator to treat the <br /> property, accessory buildings, and the primary dwelling <br /> to eliminate rats and any other pests that may be <br /> present. <br /> Community Health Department <br /> Environmental Health Management Group Recycled Paper <br /> 1011 South First Street, Suite 215 <br /> Hopkins, Minnesota 55343-9413 <br />
