We <br /> have the following comments with regards to engineering matters: <br /> • The plan provided generally appears acceptable from the City's standpoint. <br /> • However, this project may require Minnehaha Creek Watershed District permits. A wall <br /> cross-section that shows its distance and elevation relative to Lake Minnetonka would be <br /> useful. <br /> • This project will disturb more than 10 CY of material within the shore setback zone <br /> triggering Orono's sediment and erosion control ordinance. The plan indicates the <br /> installation of erosion control blanket at the base of the wall when complete. Silt fence <br /> should be installed between the wall and the lake prior to site disturbance.
