The City <br />council will need to approve a variance from the code. The second curb cut appears to be <br />driven by a desire for a two story garage and the grading required to create it. <br />The retaining wall design elevation 1 should but updated to reflect the elevations from the <br />grading plan prior to submission for the building permit. <br />Adam <br />From: Melanie Curtis <br />Sent: Friday, April 20, 2018 9:05 AM <br />To: Adam Edwards <aedwards(@ci.orono.mn.us> <br />Subject: #LA18-000040 / 95 Smith Ave <br />Adam <br />Please review the attached information for a CUP for land alteration in excess of 500 cubic yards <br />for the property at 95 Smith Avenue. The purpose for the project is construction of a new home on the <br />property. One question — how come the retaining wall plans don't reflect the actual MSL elevations of the <br />property corresponding with the survey (see sheet 2)? <br />Also, please note they are requesting a 2nd driveway access on to Smith Avenue.
