The wetland is classified as a preseroe which <br /> requires a 50 foot buffer and 20 foot setback fram the buffer. � <br /> BufFer Condition and Requirements � _ <br /> A site evaluation was completed on 9 September 2008 and it was determined that the buffer <br /> within the property is turf grass. Per Div. 3 Sec. 78-1605(2){a)turf grass is considered an <br /> undesirable plant species and will need ta be removed and replaced with native vegetation. <br /> The applicant will need to provide a ManagementlLandscaping plan that includes the fallowing: � <br /> 1. Method of establishing native vegetation in the buffer that is turf, {MN BWSR Web <br /> Site—Publication: "Restoring&Managing Native Wetland and Upland Vegetation" <br /> source for options). <br /> 2. Species proposed to be seeded or planted,According ta the ordinance Div. 3 Sec. 78- <br /> i 6Q5(3)the seed mix must contain at least 12 pounds(PLS)per acre of native prairie <br /> grass seed and 5 pounds(PLS)per acre of native wildflower seed. Pfative prairie grass <br /> and native forb maes shall contain no fewer than faur(4)and five(5)species <br /> respectively(MN BWSR Web Site—Publication: "Restoring&Managing Native <br /> Wetland and Upland Vegetation" source for options). <br /> 3. A schedule of activities that are part of the management and maintenance for the <br /> establishment of vegetation in the buffer shall be provided. - <br /> Sunrey Requirements <br /> A boundary depicting the upslope edge of the buffer needs to be shown on the certificate of - <br /> survey. A legal description for the upslope edge of the buffet will need to be submitted witt� <br /> the Restridions and Covenants(see description below). <br /> Restriction and Covenant for Wetiand and Buffer <br /> Per Section 78-1611 of the wetland ordinante the owner shall record Resviction and <br /> Covenants aver the wetland and buffer with the properry chain of title. A farm with the <br /> language fo�the Restriction and Covenants is available ftom the City. <br />
