This Section includes the following types of access doors: <br /> 1. Wall access doors. <br /> 2. Fire-rated wall access doors. <br /> 3. Ceiling access doors. <br /> B. Related Sections: The following Sections contain requirements that relate to this Section: <br /> 1. Division 9 Section"Gypsum Board Assemblies" for gypsum boazd walls and ceilings. <br /> 2. Division 9 Section"Tile"for ceramic tile walls. <br /> 3. Division 15 Section"Duct Accessories"for duct access doors. <br /> 1.3 5UBMITTALS <br /> A. General: Submit each item in this Article according to the Conditions of Contract and Division 1 <br /> Specification Sections. <br /> B. Product data for each type of access door assembly specified,including details of construction <br /> relative to materials, individual components,profiles, fmishes,and fire-protection ratings(if required). <br /> 1. Include complete schedule,including types,general locations,sizes,wall and <br /> ceiling construction details,latching or locking provisions,and other data <br /> pertinent to installation. <br /> 1.4 QUALTTY ASSURANCE <br /> A. Single-Source Responsibility: Obtain access doors for entire Project from one source and by a <br /> single manufacturer. <br /> B. Fire-Rated Door Assemblies: Units that comply with NFPA 80,are identical to door and <br /> frame assemblies tested for fir�test-response characteristics per test method as indicated below,and are <br /> labeled and listed by UL,Warnock Hersey,or another testing and inspecting agency acceptable to <br /> authorities having jurisdiction. <br /> � 1. Test Method for Vertical Installations: ASTM E 152. <br /> 2. Test Method for Horizontal Installations: ASTM E 119. <br /> C. Size Variations: Obtain Architect's acceptance of manufacturer's standard size units,which may <br /> vary slightly from sizes indicated. <br /> 1.5 COORDINATION <br /> A.
