Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including tlie General and Supplementary <br /> Conditions and Divisional Specification Sections,apply to this Section. <br /> 1.2 SUMMARY <br /> A. This Section includes the following: <br /> 1. Solid core doors with wood veneer faces. <br /> 2. Hollow core doors with wood veneer faces. <br /> 3. Factory fitting flush wood doors to frames and factory machining for hardware. <br /> B. Related Sections: The following Sections contain requirements that relate to this Section: <br /> 1. Division 6 Section"Interior Architectural Woodwork"for requirements relating to custom <br /> veneers from the same flitches for both wood doors and architectural woodwork items. <br /> 2. Division 6 Section"Finish Carpentry"for wood door frames. <br /> 13 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. General: Submit each item in this Article according to the Conditions of the Contract and <br /> Division 1 Specification Sections. <br /> B. Product data for each type of door,including details of core and edge construction,trim for <br /> openings and louvers,and factory-fmishing specifications. <br /> 1. For factory-machined doors,indicate dimensions and locations of cutouts for locksets and <br /> other cutouts adjacent to light and louver openings. <br /> C. Samples for initial selection in the form of color charts consisting of actual materials in small <br /> sections for the following: <br /> 1. Faces of factory-fmished doors with transparent finish. Show the full range of colors <br /> available for stained fmishes. <br /> 2. Faces of factory-fmished doors with opaque finish. Show the full range of colors available. <br /> D. Samples for verification in the form and size indicated below: <br /> l. Comer sections of doors approximately 12 inches (300 mm) square with door faces and <br /> edgings representingthe typical rang�pfcolor and grain for each species of veneer and solid <br /> lumber required. Finish sample with same materials proposed for factory-finished doors. <br /> 2.
