Remove projections that <br /> interfere with placement. <br /> tC. Apply two layers of insulation to meet required thickness,unless otherwise shown. <br /> 3.4 INSTALLATION OF PERIlVIETER AND UNDER-SLAB 1NSULATION <br /> � A. Protect below-grade insulation on vertical surfaces(from damage during back-filling)by <br /> application of protection board. $et in adhesive in accordaoce with recommendations af <br /> � manufa�turer of insulation. <br /> 1. Supplement adhesive attachment of insula.tion by securing boards with twapiece <br /> wall ties designed for this purpose and specified under Division 4"Unit Masonry." <br /> � B. On unrts of cellular glass insulation,apply insulation with closely fitting joints using method <br /> indicated below: <br /> , 1. Gob Method: Install four gobs of adhesive pe�'unit and apply firmly against inside wythe <br /> of masonry or other constivction as shown.
