Your plan notes that you will be sheathing the entire exterior of the building with <br /> OSB (method 3)permitting the use of R60210.5 Continuous wood structural panel sheathing. Please note IRC Figure <br /> R602.10.5 Typical Exterior Corner Nailing....Stud to Stud Nailing required for the continuous method. The continuous <br /> method permits effective wall lengths as short as 27"for a 9' ceiling adjacent to a window opening. . <br /> The attached sheet,BP1, indicates the locations of braced wall segments for the front elevation of the main level of this house <br /> and the location of portal frames.
