' � <br /> ATTACHMENT$ <br /> STORMWATER FACILI'�MAINTENANCE <br /> These te�s apply ta the stormwater facilitics canstn�cted pur5uant to Minnehaha <br /> Creek Watershcd District permit application ccumber Ob-04b. <br /> VYHEREAS,�pplication has been rnade for a pecmit from the MCWD pursuant <br /> to MCWD Rule N, Stormwater Mana�ement;and <br /> � <br /> WH�R�AS,the property that is the subject of the permit is lega[ly described in � <br /> the Declaration in#a which this Atta.chment is incorporated,s.�d�th�facilities on the I <br /> property to which these m�intenance requirements apply arc as follows: � <br /> Stormwater Pond ° <br /> R�in 4arden <br /> W��AS,MCWD Rule N provides that a maintenancE agreement shall be <br /> subtnittcd for starmwater treahnent ponds,outlet stYuctures for such ponds,culverts, <br /> outfall structures and�11 other stormwater f�cilities,and thst the maintenance agreement <br /> shall specify methods,schedule and zesponsible partias for mai�tenance attd must include <br /> at&minitnum, the elements comained in tbe District's Maintenance Agreement Form. <br /> 1�TOW,TH�REFORE: <br /> 1. The property owncr shall inspect the stormwater retention and treatment <br /> basin{s)at a minimum of once a year to deternune if the basin's ratention and treaiment <br /> characteristir,s 2�r�ade�uate. A storaga treatrnent basin will be considered inad�uate if <br /> sediment has d�ereased the wet storage volwne by�of its original design volume, <br /> Based oA this inspectioa,xf the st4rrnwater basin(s)is identified for sediment cle,araout, <br /> the property owner si�al] restore the basin(s)to its origi�ai deszgca contours within one <br /> year oPthe inspectian date, <br /> 2. The property ovv�aer shall inspect the grit chambers, sump eateh basins, <br /> sump ma�nholes,outlet structures,culverts, outfall struetures or other starmwater facilities <br /> �or the project in the spring and fa11 of each year. The property owner shail refftove a11 <br /> se�dimenfi and debris during the inspections such that the stor�nwat�ar fa�il�ties operate as <br /> designed and permitted. <br /> 3. l�.ain gardens must be kept clean of excess sedifn�nt and debris.Hea]thy <br /> plant�rowth must be�naintained in the rnin gardens by removing dead vegetation in the <br /> spring of each year. <br /> 4.
