In <br /> October 2010,Jay Nygard,the property owner,applied for a City of Orono building permit ta aliow <br /> construction of a wind generator on his residentially zoned property. The City denied the building <br /> permit request as wind generators are not an allowed use within residential districts. <br /> Mr. Nygard proceeded to instal!a faoting for the wind generator in November,the City responded by <br /> issuing a Stop Work notice. Since that time Mr. Nygard has disregarded the Cit�s Stop Work notice and <br /> has proceeded to install the wind generator.We believe the entire structure has been erected. I have <br /> enclosed copies of our correspondence to Mr. Nygard. It is our understanding that Mr. Nygard will be <br /> seeking approval of an electrical permit for the wind generator fram the State. <br /> Please contact me if you have any questions or require additional information on this matter.
