The seasonatly saturated soils were located at <br /> 22" to 34" (redox features). Due to the seasonally saturated soits, a Pressurized Mound <br /> System will need to be instaAed to treat septic effluent. The bottom of the rock must be <br /> located at least 3' above the saturated soils. <br /> City code requires a 20' setback from the edge of the system for equipment travel. <br /> The soils at a depth of 12" have a percolation rate of 6.3mpi. <br /> The tanks needed for the house will be 2-1250 gallon capacity and 2-1000 gallon <br /> capacity for the guest house. <br /> Both the house and guest house witl have a 1500 gallon pumping chamber. There will <br /> be a timer in the guest house pumping chamber (pump#2). The power supply and <br /> switches must be located outside the manhote and pumping chamber in a weather proof <br /> enclosure. A waming device must be installed with a light and sound device, this is in <br /> case of a pump failure.
