, . <br /> ' • , , <br /> ���p CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��, G� NO. � 7 L � <br /> j�'FE3H��� <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> APPROVING VARIANCES FROM <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-420 <br /> FILE NO. 17-3889 <br /> WHEREAS, Timothy White and Jane White, a mamed couple (hereinafter the <br /> "Applicants"), ar� the owners of the property located at 2170 Prospect Avenue, and legally <br /> described as: <br /> T at part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, <br /> Townshi 117, Range 23 West, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as <br /> COMME CING at a point 515.625 feet north of the south line and 208.00 feet east of <br /> the west'line of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 10; <br /> thence East 72.0 feet;thence North 130.0 feet;thence East 50.0 feet;thence North 58.3 <br /> feet;therMce West 122.0 feet;thence South 188.3 feet to the point of beginning;subject <br /> to street�hereinafter the"Propert�'); <br /> VIMHEREAS, on December 14, 2016, the Applicants made application to the City <br /> of Orono for variances to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-420 to allow an addition to <br /> the existing home 18 feet from the side street where a 50-foot setback is required, and 17.9 feet <br /> from the side lot line where a 30-foot setback is required; and <br /> V1�HEREAS, on January 17, 2017, after pubtished and mailed notice in accordance <br /> with Minnesota �tatutes and the City Code, the Planning Commission held a public hearing, at <br /> which time all persons desiring to be heard conceming this application were given the opportunity <br /> to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, on January 17, 2017, the Planning Commission recommended <br /> approval of the v�ariances; and <br /> V1�HEREAS, on February 13, 2017, the City Council reviewed the application and <br /> the recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff; and <br /> NI�W,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Orono, Minnesota <br /> hereby approve$ the requested variances as described above based on one or more of the <br /> following finding� of fact concerning the Property: <br /> 1 <br />
